Dear Mae Ann,

if you're lucky, it can go very fast (within days), but normally I'd say you should plan with 3 - 6 months until you find a matching family and have a signed contract. The visa processing time will then depend on the host country (and your citizenship) - I have no experience with visa for au pairs from the Philippines, but for other countries it can range from two weeks to several months to even get an appointment...

Best regards,

Maria from the cAP team

PS: Your profile says you're a family, not an au pair. You can contact us to change that - as a family you of course can't search for a host family, only for au pairs...

after a few days we found a nice girl. Unfortunately, she has not answered for a few days now??
